Geotab is seeking a Regional Marketing Specialist who will work on the development, and implementation of the marketing and communication plans for the Latin American region. What you’ll do:
As a Regional Marketing Specialist you will be the main point of contact for marketing and sales team members regarding marketing projects that are related to the region. In this role, you will work closely with marketing, sales, freelance writers and agencies To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Develop world class B2B and B2C marketing strategy.
- Identify key priorities and weighting of tactics by geographic region.
- Develop multi-tier strategies that target audiences for acquisition, retention, size of business, etc.
- Work with Latin America and Global Marketing Leaders and other stakeholders to develop a strong command of sales pipeline, revenue targets, product road map and other areas that impact marketing strategy and budgets.
- Collaborate with Global Marketing, Product Marketing and Sales Enablement Teams to develop value-based messaging, brand campaigns, events and market share programs supporting resellers and partners.
- Build mindshare with partners and resellers through joint marketing initiatives.
- Implement robust push / pull digital strategy to drive awareness and competitive differentiation for Geotab.
- Work with Marketing Automation and Sales Operation Teams on lead generation and nurture campaigns that deliver sales opportunities.
- Utilize business planning tools (e.g. Salesforce) to forecast and manage quarterly budgets.
- Optimize plans and budgets ensuring that campaigns are creative, well-positioned and meet global brand standards.
- Manage agency and internal creative processes with briefs and project plans.
Experience/Skills Required:
- Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree specialization in Business, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Marketing or Business-related role
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be fluent (written and spoken) in Spanish – English.
- Fluency in Portuguese is a bonus.
- Experience working with PR and or Corporate Communications functions, either agency or internal
- Experience developing a comprehensive marketing plan and executing against measured goals and targets.
- Self-starter attitude, ability to work on various projects simultaneously and perform within a fast-growth, agile environment
- Experience working within a technical or engineering organization/knowledge of the high-technology industry is an asset.
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.
- A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
- Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
