Position Overview: The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a critical role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring exceptional candidates to meet the company’s staffing needs. This position requires a proactive and strategic individual with a strong understanding of recruitment processes, excellent communication skills, and a passion for finding the best talent.

This position is eligible to be fully remote but must be within the Eastern or Central time zones in the United States. An added bonus (not required) would be to reside near any of our sites: Morganton NC, Chicago Heights IL, Vineland NJ, Peachtree City GA, Berlin OH. Please be aware this role does have minimal travel requirements, 15% – 30% yearly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Talent Sourcing: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
• Job Posting: Review and recommend any necessary changes to current job descriptions so that they accurately reflect the requirements and responsibilities of each position.
• Candidate Screening: Review resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and assess candidates’ qualifications and fit for the company culture.
• Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and professional interview process.
• Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, provide guidance on recruitment strategies, and ensure alignment with departmental goals.
• Offer Management: Extend job offers, negotiate terms, and manage the offer process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, salary benchmarks, and best practices in recruitment to ensure competitive and effective hiring practices.
• Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive and engaging experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.
• Reporting: Track and report on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source of hire, to evaluate and improve recruitment strategies.

Qualifications:

• Education: Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a multi-plant manufacturing setting.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of recruitment techniques and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage time effectively.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Knowledge of business law as it relates to the recruitment process
