We are excited to invite applications for anticipated fixed-term faculty positions in Educational Administration. We are looking for talented individuals to join our team in one or more of the following areas: Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education; K-12 Administration; and Education Policy. These part-time positions offer the flexibility of one or two-semester appointments, starting in Fall 2022.

The successful candidates will primarily teach at our East Lansing campus or online, with occasional travel to Birmingham or Detroit for hybrid classes.

Responsibilities

Teach master’s or doctoral level courses in areas such as teaching and learning, school or post-secondary administration and leadership, education policy, legal issues in education, and educational finance.

Engage in a dynamic and collaborative teaching environment.

Position Details

Rank: Instructor-Fixed Term or Assistant Professor-Fixed Term, depending on qualifications.

Appointment: One or two semesters beginning Fall 2022.

Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Required Qualifications

For Instructor Rank: Master’s degree.

For Assistant Professor Rank: Doctoral degree (PhD/EdD).

Desired Qualifications

Doctoral degree (PhD/EdD).

This role is designated as remote-friendly, meaning that some or all duties can be performed remotely, subject to mutual agreement.
