Are you a passionate Full Stack Web Developer with expertise in creating seamless web applications? We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team in the role of Full Stack Web Developer. This is a 100% remote position with an immediate start date for a long-term contract.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in developing RESTful APIs using modern Python web app frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Starlite (3.9+).

Strong background in creating reusable CRUD operations using an ORM, particularly with SQLAlchemy.

Proficiency in modern JavaScript for front-end development, including frameworks like React or Vue.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to establish comprehensive tests, development practices, and documentation for web applications.

Familiarity with basic user experience and user interface design principles.

Planned Objectives

Migrate and refactor Flask backend to FastAPI, documenting best practices along the way.

Upgrade Flask frontend to a modern JavaScript-based framework, implementing testing and development practices for future maintenance.

Evaluate data models, ORM, and CRUD methods for best practices, migrating the database as needed.

Establish sustainable models for development, CI/CD, and deployment practices.

Support and extend web app functionality in alignment with stakeholder requests.
