As a Java Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing best-in-class customer solutions. Responsibilities

Collaborate with the project team, including the Line Manager, Development Lead, and Software Project Manager, fostering effective communication

Develop software components based on design specifications

Conduct thorough Unit/JUnit testing to ensure quality and reliability

Actively document software implementation for seamless knowledge sharing

Provide onsite support for commissioning and post go-live activities

Offer remote support for integration onsite

Qualifications

BSc in Computer Science or equivalent

3+ years of software development experience in highly dynamic environments

Skills And Characteristics

Strong knowledge of OOP/design patterns, distributed architectures, and event-driven programming

Proficiency in Java programming language

Experience with web services (REST and SOAP)

Familiarity with databases (MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)

Exposure to microservices (SpringBoot)

Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies

Knowledge of warehouse automation is a plus

Familiarity with algorithms is a plus

Salary Range: $85,000-$110,000/year (commensurate with experience)
