Job Duties
As a Junior Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Contributing to the development of advanced software for multi-vehicle autonomy in complex, contested environments.
Collaborating within a team to design, implement, and test autonomy software systems for embedded uncrewed multi-vehicle autonomy.
Supporting the presentation of technical results to both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
Assisting in other company initiatives and programs.
For candidates with less than 3 years of post-graduation work experience, please include your total GPA and your in-major/engineering-related GPA.
Required Skills
Active SECRET clearance or higher.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Physical Science, Operations Research, Data Science.
2-4 years of experience in software development/R&D of AI for Robotics, Machine Learning, Robot Planning/Optimization Techniques, and/or Autonomous Uncrewed Systems Software.
Proficiency with C/C++, Python, and (desired) relevant memory-safe languages. Familiarity with Linux-based development environments is highly desired.
Experience with and/or understanding of modern software development toolchains and processes.
Effective oral communication skills and technical writing proficiency.
Ability to work effectively as part of a test team.
Desired Skills
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Physical Science, Operations Research, Data Science, or related field.
Familiarity with DoD or other common robotics and datalink architecture standards (especially OMS and AFSIM, but also FACE, DDS, ROS, STANAG 4586, J-Series, etc.).
Experience with modern software development toolchains and processes (git/Gitlab/Github, Confluence/Jira, CI/CD, and automated test methodologies, etc.).
