We’re seeking a dynamic Software Developer to join our team at an exciting early-stage startup dedicated to empowering neurology patients through home monitoring of brain health. As a remote team member, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading the development of our software pipeline and making a positive impact on patient lives. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Platform Strategizing

Collaborate with executive management to create a strategic roadmap anticipating the software development needs of our rapidly expanding company.

Share valuable insights with the leadership team to enhance our product and platform continuously.

Identify key performance features, user experience requirements, cost constraints, and software solutions in the development of our current product.

Software Development and Project Management

Contribute to the redevelopment/optimization of existing image processing and analysis software built in MATLAB.

Convert existing MATLAB code to C++ and/or Python.

Develop comprehensive documentation as needed.

Debug code from other team members and work collaboratively to address challenges.

Engage with users to comprehend design requirements and incorporate user feedback into design revisions.

Clearly define technical requirements and systems architecture, considering feasibility, time, cost, and impact.

Desired Skill Set

Possess an entrepreneurial spirit that is flexible, experimental, and resourceful.

Demonstrate strong project management and communication skills.

Ability to devise timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems.

Bonus: Experience working with retinal image data.

Minimum Technical Requirements

Hold an advanced degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (graduate students are encouraged to apply).

Exhibit Excellent Command Over

MATLAB programming.

Object-Oriented Design and Programming (e.g., Python, C++, and C#).

Display strong competency in version control (GitHub or similar).

Demonstrate a solid grasp of fundamental signal and image processing and analysis techniques.
