Job Opportunity
As a Frontend React Software Engineer on our high-performing Product Innovation team, you will:
Specialize in crafting responsive and well-designed UIs using React, Typescript, and supporting technologies.
Engage in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from estimation and technical design to implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and product support.
Contribute to building a modern web services architecture that integrates with internal and external services and APIs.
Collaborate with solution architects and developers to translate wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, technical designs, and a releasable product.
Uphold strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse.
Qualifications
Our ideal Frontend React Software Engineer will:
Thrive in collaborative environments, working with both technical and non-technical team members to create outstanding user experiences.
Possess skills in using modern design tools, wireframes, storyboards, journey maps, prototypes, and flow diagrams.
Demonstrate an ability to meet user needs while adhering to brand guidelines, technical constraints, and aligning with short-term and long-term business goals.
Requirements
College degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field preferred.
2+ years of experience building and maintaining web applications with React, JavaScript, and CSS.
Experience in developing software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions.
Proficiency in Typescript, Material UI JSS, MobX, Google Charts, CSS Grid Layout & Flexbox.
Extensive knowledge of web standards, modern browsers, responsive design, and the full web technology stack.
Experience with REST/JSON APIs, Git, and CICD tools.
Familiarity with consuming micro-services.
Additional Information
For local candidates, this is a hybrid position with mostly remote/virtual work and occasional on-site activities (Indianapolis northside) approximately 1-2x per week.
For non-local candidates, this will primarily be a virtual/remote position with occasional on-site travel (2-4x per year), depending on location.
Candidates must be authorized to legally work in the USA without requiring employment visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
