Job Title: Web Software Engineer

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain web front-end applications for Diamond Kinetics users.
Collaborate with a cross-discipline engineering team on a complex technology stack.
Design compelling user interfaces, with a preference for the Angular framework.
Create 2D and 3D data visualizations using frameworks like d3.js.
Work closely with the API team to surface more data and content from our backend.
Accurately estimate development task timelines.
Adhere to software development best practices, including continuous integration and modularized architecture.
Engage effectively with customers (coaches, players, and parents) to gather real-life feedback on the developed software.
Contribute to the successful software development life cycle of the company.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Networking, or equivalent field of study.
5-10 years of industry experience with a successful track record in product development.
Deep understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ideally TypeScript.
Familiarity with modern web development frameworks, especially Angular and/or React.
Experience in creating unit tests using automated testing frameworks.
Additional Desired Experience
TypeScript proficiency.
Strong familiarity with UX best practices.
Passion for baseball and/or softball games.
Comfortable with advanced physics concepts and equations.
Python development experience.
Startup And/or Early-stage Company Experience.
Experience in building consumer-facing products, including any design background.
