About the Job:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Data Entry Clerk that will work alongside our risk management department. Our ideal candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy in an ever-changing working environment. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently and accurately. We prefer candidates who have chargeback data entry experience, but we are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities:

• Entering customer and account data from source documents in a timely manner.
• Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy and completeness of source data before it is entered.
• Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any inaccuracies, validate output, and report any errors to supervisors.
• Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
• Perform basic clerical duties including filing, faxing, scanning, and printing when needed.
• Adhere to data integrity, security policies, and established data entry procedures and protocols.

Qualifications/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Chargeback or financial institute experience preferred, but not required.
• Proven data entry and office administrative experience.
• Experience with MS Office and data programs.
• Ability to type 45+ wpm.
• Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Must be able to meet deadlines and be flexible to support peak volumes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
