Key Responsibilities:
Updates and maintains employee records and HR databases using HRIS system
Processes documentation for all employees in accordance with company policy and procedures
Review and update company policies and ensuring legal compliance
Supports with onboarding and orientation for new hires; answers employees queries about HR-related issues
Liaises with external vendors, as needed
Assists with various internal logistics & tasks – meetings, drafting presentations, processing invoices
Support & participate in HR projects and programs
Complete other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Aptitude with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and HRIS (Workday preferred)
Up to 1 year of relevant experience. Previous experience working in an HR department is an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
