Key Responsibilities:
Track sales transactions and provide/develop monthly reports utilizing Excel spreadsheets
Assist new customers with GFL’s My Account setup
Assist with preparation, assembly and delivery of quotes and tenders, under Sales Manager’s supervision
Create and distribute monthly reports for management review
Act as a liaison between Sales, Operations, and Customer Service
Verify for accuracy, contracts and service change forms
Collaborate with sales reps to clarify and present monthly commissions for approval
Take action on special projects as assigned by the Sales Manager
Acting as a lead for all sales related projects (corporate updates, pricing updates etc.)
Utilize GFL’s Customer Relationship Management software to input prospects and new customers.
Work directly with customers, regarding payments, invoice questions or other account inquiries
Provide back-up support to the inside sales coordinator, taking temporary bin requests and scheduling confidential shredding services
Participate in and contribute to weekly Sales Team meetings
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a professional office team environment
A deep knowledge of customer service best practices.
Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with keen detail orientation
Strong initiative and accountability, with a focus on achieving results
Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with commitment to delivering quality service, both internally and externally
Thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Demonstrated ability leveraging Excel’s capabilities to create and produce reports
Skilled with use of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. CRM database knowledge an asset
