GGW Staffing Hiring for Customer Service Representative at San Jose, CA Full Time
GGW Staffing is actively hiring for a CSR familiar with Pneumatic and Electric Automation, with sales experience to liaison between our company and its customers. The successful candidate will be able to perform the following job functions with general guidance and opportunities for product training.
Description of the job:
- Manage a customer portfolio through assigned territory, as well as new customers
- Execute processing of customer orders, including change orders and quoting.
- Become familiar with manufacturing software portals to retrieve information necessary to issue quotes, provide lead times, and online order processing.
- Credit card processing
- Liaison with our shipping team, providing necessary customer ship instruction details
- Become familiar with product line offering gaining product knowledge via mfg. webinar training and optional onsite factory training programs.
- Engage with customers to establish partner relations, to develop sales by going the extra mile.
- Eventually provide technical support to our customers
- Other clerical duties that may be necessary
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a customer support position, with a background in distribution and Pneumatics/Electronics/Automation a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively via strong phone skills and active listening.
- Superior attendance
- Customer focus
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft office, Excel, and Word)
- Familiarity with CRM systems a plus
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and detail-orientated
- Able to multi-task and prioritize work
