We are small maritime law firm seeking a motivated, experienced Litigation Secretary to join us We are the only tenant in our building with a stunning setting with koi ponds and we offer free parking.

Responsibilities Include:

• Create, revise, and format legal documents, correspondence, reports, and pleadings.
• Edit, label, and redact documents
• Filing and arranging of filings with various State and Federal courts.
• E-Filing and e-service.
• Scheduling of meetings and arranging travel itineraries.
• Supporting multiple attorneys in a fast-paced environment
• Preparing Motions with TOA’s & TOC’s.
• Calendaring due dates.
• Reviewing and complying with local rules of the California state and federal courts
• Familiarity with trial preparation.

Minimum Requirements Include:

• 3-5+ years of litigation experience.
• Great attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with WORD, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to create and manipulate TOC’s & TOA’s.
• Knowledge of Federal and State court filing requirements.
• Fast and accurate typing.
• Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent word processing skills.
• Ability to anticipate and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
• Natural problem solver and resourceful.
• Multitasker and well organized.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills while working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• A team player attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $78,000.00 per year
