Greets and provides information to all internal and external customers at GRHC facilities. Assists with any patient needs by conducting daily rounds, transporting patients, and providing foods or beverages. Identifies and responds proactively to patient complaints, service issues, and alerts. Coordinates with various service units to effectively support patients in receiving services.
Serves as an initial contact to patients, patients’ families, visitors, and the general public by greeting and welcoming them to the facilities.
Provides timely and proactive response to any inquiries, directions, inconvenience, or complaints in-person and by telephone. Transfers phone calls as necessary.
Identifies and documents concerns and provides available resources, such as wheelchairs.
Transports patients to different locations within the facilities in wheelchairs or golf carts.
Performs daily rounds throughout the facilities to check on patients, deliver foods and beverages, and help anyone in need.
Cooperates with Quality Management to identify obstacles and make recommendations to patient services.
Maintains the facilities and equipment regularly by cleaning public areas, counting equipment, and sanitizing wheelchairs before and after use.
Helps patients, especially the elderly and patients with hearing problems, with checking in at pharmacies.
Responds to and assists in any security, rapid response, or facility alerts.
Provides water in the main lobby and pharmacy and hands out to patients.
Communicates with Emergency Department to assist with any activities.
Translates in Pima language for patients who do not speak English, if necessary.
Performs other job-related activities as requested.
High school diploma or GED required.
6+ months of customer service experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license required with 39 month clear MVR record.
Must have or be able to secure a valid CPR Certification within 6 months from Date of Hire.
EZ Lift and Self Defense training within 6 months from date of hire.
Ability to communicate in Pima language preferred.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
