Gilbert Homes Ltd Looking for Carpenters at Wairau Valley, Auckland Full Time

Gilbert Homes is the latest evolution of a fourth generation family business. We deliver complete residential builds from minor dwellings through to large homes and multi units based in Wairau Valley, working on sites predominantly in West Auckland. We are seeking experienced and ambitious carpenters ideally qualified or working towards qualification to join our great team.

The role requires extensive hands on experience and in depth knowledge of building processes to work on various sites at different stages.

The role will – 

• Work alongside the lead LBP carpenter and management
• Cover the full building spectrum – foundations, framing, flooring, truss, cladding, joinery, GIB, finishing lines and fit out, fences and decks

The successful candidate must be –

• Driven, self motivated and want to succeed and grow
• Willing to learn
• Punctual and reliable, with own car and clean licence 
• Able to understand and follow plans and specifications

Coming from either your own business or working with quality building companies delivering a range of projects having gained exposure to the full spectrum of building. this role will be a further step in an already successful career.
