We are excited to partner with a digital consultancy dedicated to building technology to automate repetitive tasks for their customers (including ASX listed companies) and allow more time for innovation, creativity & strategy.
This consultancy is made up of expert engineers, creatives and analysts who design & build custom-made human-focused digital products. They combine analytics with UX design to help businesses in automation, artificial intelligence, and process improvement.

Please note: This is a unique 4-month contract (with a view to go permanent). The role is based in Brisbane but is also available fully remote.

Key responsibilities – Junior Software Engineer
In this Graduate Software Engineer role, you can expect to be involved in the following:

• Building commercial applications
• Implementation & delivery of solutions
• Working with an experienced team of developers, addressing any queries from implementations
• Ensure the written code is bug-free
• Diagnose any problems and provide guidance to testing teams
• Participating in UX and internal software workshops
• Driving product analysis to recognise growth opportunities within the platform
• Monitor infrastructure to ensure consistent delivery of the platform to end-users

Job requirements – Junior Software Engineer

• Ideally educated to degree level or currently studying in a relevant subject
• Passionate about software development and continuous self-learning
• Technical requirements: ReactJS (or other JavaScript libraries), .NET, Java, SQL
• Strong communicator who naturally works well in a team
• Commitment to quality and diligent approach to your work
• Relish a fast-paced environment and looking for a challenge!
• Any experience with cloud-based infrastructure providers (e.g.AWS)
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and test automation would be helpful
• Working knowledge of tools like Jira, Confluence (again a plus!)
• ‘Can-do’ and flexible approach
• Inquisitive mind who enjoys thinking outside of the box
• An understanding of Agile and the full development process
• Full working rights to work in Australia (this will be an initial full-time paid contract role with a view to go permanent)
