What You’ll Do

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Strategy Development

• Lead cross-functional rolling strategy process developing a holistic product strategy for the Product Line Driveline in alignment with the GKN Automotive strategy and functional strategies

• Drive supporting analyses

• Continuously improve strategy process

• Strategy Implementation

• Drive strategy deployment overseeing and steering portfolio of strategic initiatives

• Lead setup of new strategic initiatives

• Lead implementation of individual strategic initiatives or select workstreams

• Product Line Management

1. Develop communication material for internal and external presentations

2. Define and consolidate Product Line reporting needs

3. Support development of Product Line organization towards defined target picture

What You’ll need

Formal Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, economics, business, or other relevant subject; advanced degree (MBA, PhD) desirable

• Substantial industry experience in automotive or adjacent industries

• Substantial functional experience in management consulting or corporate strategy

Capabilities, Knowledge & Skills

• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to structure complex strategic goals into executable plans

• Ability to use complex data models to identify market trends and competitor insights and drive GKN competitive advantage

• Ability to inspire & motivate others to drive successful business outcomes

• Strong leadership skills and ability to influence through others

• A collaborative outlook and mindset

• Excellent communication skills

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office

• Proficient in English, additional local language desirable
