Global Exchange Group Looking for Finance and Administration Assistant(Auckland Airport) at Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

About Us:

Global Exchange is a leading multinational company specialising in currency exchange services, operating in over 29 countries worldwide.

We are rapidly expanding in New Zealand, and we are looking for Finance and Administration Assistant for the Auckland Airport to support this growth.

The Role:

As the Finance and Administration Assistant, you will manage the entire accounting period of the company according to corporate policies and the legal framework of the subsidiary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting; Manage the Company accounting in accordance with transparency and quality.
• Monitoring of cash balances; Collect information, analyse and check central safe balance in order to prepare balance sheets and audits.
• Annual Budget: Have a budgetary plan tailored to the Company’s needs and allowing expenditure control and analysis.
• Budgetary control: Budgetary compliance and correction of deviations from the established budget.
• Expenses control: Control necessary expenses ensuring consistency in both their volume and their accounting.
• Taxes- tax payments and submission of documentation, and compliance with tax regulations.
• Purchases: Carry out the ordinary purchases and supervise the extraordinary ones at the work places.
• Financial optimisation analysis; Make all actions related to management profitable. On the basis of this information, help Management to make decisions
• Reconcile debtors and creditors ledger, prepare bank reconciliations.
• Responsible for internal and external audit.
• Prepare accounting reports on a monthly basis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience in financial management and operations
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance and administration roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS office, particularly Excel.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CFA are plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
• SAP Experience
