Chief Operating Officer – ABA/Autism Healthcare Services provider – Remote

GRN Lincoln Square is conducting a search for a Chief Operating Officer (COO). The organization is a rapidly growing, private equity-backed ABA Therapy/Autism Services company that operates multiple clinics in several states, and also offer in-home and telehealth options for their clients.

The COO will have extensive experience in Operations leadership in a Healthcare Services organization and a track record of building processes and systems in a high-growth business. In addition, they should have strong leadership and managerial skills, directing a team of high-performing professionals to be effective and productive as they continue to grow, adding clinics/centers and employees.

This is a remote/home-based role and requires travel to Centers/Clinics in the market as well as regular travel for corporate meetings in the Southeast. Compensation includes base salary, annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities

• Drive organization vision, operational strategy and hiring needs to accommodate rapid growth of the organization.
• Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance, helping to implement organization-wide goal-setting, performance management and annual operating planning.
• Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building an inclusive and cohesive team.
• Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of internal and external processes, providing consistent and accurate reporting to the organization.
• Directly oversee operations, client staffing, HR, recruiting and accounting/finance.
• Manage capital expenditures and expenses to ensure the company achieves growth and profitability targets.
• Oversee all aspects of DeNovo clinics, including site selection, construction, contracting, outreach, hiring, clinical and business operations.
• Ensure effective recruiting, professional development, performance management and retention.
• Adhere to federal, state and local compliance requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

• Executive leadership and Operations Management with a Healthcare Services provider is required, proficiency in Autism/ABA services highly preferred.
• For-profit and/or Private Equity experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA, MHA or related field highly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a managerial/executive leadership position
• Understanding of business planning, financial/budgeting/expense control
• Adept at building and leading high-performing teams
• Ability to diagnose problems quickly and create solutions.
• Knowledge of the compliance/regulatory environment
• Outstanding organizational/leadership/communication skills

NOTE: This is a remote position, and the candidate can work from home. Travel to Centers/clinics and corporate meetings are required.
