GNB Global Inc. Looking for Lead Hand at Edmonton, AB Full Time

GNB Global Inc is a fast growing company that is looking for an Lead Hand to supervise a crew to install our Steel Frame Fabric Buildings across Canada

The best candidates will:

-need to be adventurous travelling across Canada with the potential to travel to the US if needed

– be offered a benefits package, want to earn plenty of money with overtime and the potential to move up in the company

-have a full week off every month

– Journeyman Ironworker or carpenter

– Demonstrate strong leadership qualities include ability to instruct and maintain effective and efficient high quality productivity from install construction crew employees, the ability to train employees and to lead by example.

– Ensure that the GNB safety and construction procedures, methods and standards are applied to every building, every day and to ensure other on site follow all safety procedures

– Ensuring the accurate and timely successful completion of project by managing on site material, and construction crew, reviewing drawings to ensure accurate installation, document Daily progress and plans for the day

-Establish and maintain effective working relationships showing respect and professionalism with all clients, employees, trade partners, safety officials and supply chain partners well maintaining the GNB Brand.

– Proactively identify, address, and resolve issues/problems as or before they occur—

– Have excellent communication skill to work as an interface between the customer, the installation crews and with Project Management Team

– Have a valid drivers license and be able to provide current drivers abstract

– Be able to pass drug test for on site requirements

– be vaccinated against Covid 19 or willing to test regularly to meet customer on site requirement

-Successful candidate will have Telehandler, Fall Arrest, Elevated Platform tickets

Compensation is to be negotiate based upon experience and education.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
