The Sr Manager, Immigration & Global Mobility will have the opportunity to leverage their immigration and global mobility expertise to shape our internal program. By providing our internal employees, as well as in-coming candidates, the most positive experience with their immigration and in some cases, relocation processes, we will ensure they’re set up to achieve their very best work with GoDaddy. This role is critical to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures governing immigration. In this role, you will maintain relationships with external immigration counsel and consult with internal departments including Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Payroll, and business teams, as well as employees and candidates.

What you’ll get to do…

• Execute GoDaddy’s immigration strategy by managing the day-to-day activities of the immigration program

• Analyze individual immigration cases by partnering with internal stakeholders, candidates/employees and external counsel to pull information from disparate sources to determine case viability and develop individual short- and long-term immigration strategies throughout the employee’s immigration life-cycle

• Works as immigration subject matter expert, advising recruiters, managers and team members on immigration requirements, processes, and timelines

• Continually evaluate current immigration processes and policies, make recommendations for improvements to leadership, and implement solutions as appropriate

• Consult with stakeholders at all levels of the business on complex immigration matters

• Oversee & monitor assignee moves internationally

• Act as an escalation point for any team member queries

• Develop and improve internal processes to increase efficiency

• Establish strong partnership with GoDaddy’s external immigration counsel

• Ensure world-class end to end customer experience

• Conduct periodic audits to ensure that GoDaddy is compliant with all relevant immigration laws

• Assist with the development of communications on changing immigration rules, regulations, etc.

Your experience should include…

• +5 years U.S. immigration experience with in-house corporate immigration program or relevant experience with an external immigration practice

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

• Strong understanding of all employment-based U.S. immigrant and non-immigrant visas

• Experience handling growing case load with particular focus on green card matters and PERM case management

• Experience with non-US immigration is a plus

• Excellent consulting, communication, organization, and customer service skills
