Who is a MOVE Associate Experience Supervisor?
GoodLife Kids Foundation (GLKF) has a vision for all kids and youth with autism and intellectual disabilities to experience the joys and benefits of being active. The MOVE by GoodLife Kids program is a national physical activity and fitness program for youth ages 12 – 21 years with autism and intellectual disabilities. Each virtual MOVE by GoodLife Kids class runs up to three times per week and will have up to ten Participants joining. MOVE Classes incorporate social time, workouts, dancing, and mental wellness. Our Associates include a team of Coaches and Support Agents. Our MOVE Coaches are fitness professionals with training and experience in working with people with autism and intellectual disabilities. The MOVE Support Agents are there to assist with technology and perform roles such as admittance from Zoom waiting room, muting/unmuting participants, and playing music and videos.) The MOVE Associate Experience Supervisor plays an important part in the ability to offer more MOVE programs to more youth with autism and intellectual disabilities across Canada.
This role is responsible for supervising and engaging a team of Associates for the MOVE by GoodLife Kids Program. Through collaboration this role assists with identifying program needs to enhance program development, retention and sustainability. Finally, this role contributes to facilitating the program logistics to ensure a positive experience for all. This would be a remote position with 15-20 hours per week.
GoodLife Kids Foundation is a registered charity in Canada. This position is with GoodLife Kids Foundation and not a role with GoodLife Fitness.
