Our Opportunity

We are currently looking to fill 2 positions, one for baking and one for slicing at our Dunedin site. These positions are an integral member of the Baking and Production team and makes a strong contribution to a high performing Production team and team culture within Baking, while performing the duties of preparing, baking and packaging bread products to the standards required. Reporting to the Team Leader, the successful candidate will be required to train, supervise and lead out initiatives within the production environment and have a sound understanding of business systems. Full training will be provided.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

• Understanding the ingredients used in the baking process.
• Communicate all issues with equipment immediately to the Team Leader
• Ability to operate each stage of the production process
• Ability to operate most bakery equipment
• Ensure all health and safety rules, standards and policies are adhered to
• Full training will be provided

About You

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Machine Operating experience (desirable)
• Food Industry Qualifications (desirable)
• Food industry experience (desirable)
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• A positive work attitude and professional manner
• Strong knowledge of work health and safety with demonstrated experience in previous workplaces
