Our Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy person to join the Yoplait team in Palmerston North as a Store Person. The Store Person is an integral member of the Yoplait Manufacturing function and will make a strong contribution to a high performing warehouse team and culture within Goodman Fielder.

You will need willingness to learn and have some warehouse experience. To ensure success in this role, you will have a good focus on health and safety and be committed to following processes and procedures. You will be a good communicator and while actively contributing to the team you will be disciplined enough to work autonomously also.

Shift pattern is 3 weekly rotation of 5am to 1pm, 11am to 7pm and 8pm to 4am(Monday to Friday)

Key responsibilities

• Picking and dispatching of stock to our storage providers
• Receipting of inwards goods from suppliers and completing receipt dockets
• Ensuring plant is supplied with the required ingredients and packaging at the right times
• Rotation of stock in storage locations to ensure FIFO
• General warehouse duties.
• Completing all documentation for inwards and outwards goods accurately.
• Loads & Unloads trucks efficiently and safely whilst maintaining product integrity.
• Zero damage to stock or equipment while loading/unloading.

We are looking for

• An experienced forklift operator
• Minimum 1-year Warehouse or Stores experience
• Medium level literacy / numerical skills
• Able to prioritize tasks and work in a busy environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with a wide range of people from differing functions
• Willingness and aptitude to learn
