Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in one of the following: cloud migration, data center migration, disaster recovery, virtualization, application/servers assessment, and discovery.
- Experience as a technical sales engineer.
- Experience in leading a migration to cloud campaign.
Preferred qualifications:
- Technical sales experience or professional consulting experience in the fields of cloud computing, data, information lifecycle management, and Big Data.
- Experience with developing data warehousing, data lakes, batch or real-time event processing and ETL workflows solutions (i.e. Informatica, Talend, Alooma, SAP, Data Services), which could include architecture design, implementing, tuning, schema design, and query optimization of scalable, and distributed systems.
- Experience in writing code in a common development languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, Scala, R, or Go.
- Understanding of DNS, TCP, Firewalls, Proxy Servers, Load Balancing, VPN and VPC, and working knowledge of Linux.

Responsibilities
- Motivate customers and peers to solve problems with innovative solutions, leveraging a sophisticated set of technical competencies.
- Manage Go-to-Market strategy from a technical perspective, and craft the strategy to transform the customers, identify key customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
- Work with customers to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer/partner environments, and help the Account team to establish agreements from technical perspective.
- Recommend migration strategies, enterprise architectures, migration tools, and cloud infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices on Google Cloud.
- Share in-depth data analytics and data engineering knowledge to support the technical relationship with Google’s customers, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination and prioritization of solutions impacting customer adoption of Google Cloud.
