Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in strategy and/or operations consulting.
Experience working across multiple functions to create solutions.
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree or advanced degree.
5 years of experience working in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate strategy, business operations, or a technology/media company.
Experience working in a technical, quantitative, or business field.
Experience working across cross-functional teams to influence peers/leadership through communications and business strategies.
Experience developing solutions for multiple audiences and uncovering the needs of stakeholders, users, and regulators.
Ability to take initiative of projects by setting and achieving milestones, synthesizing input from stakeholders, creating outputs for audiences, and driving awareness/adoption of final deliverables.
The Global Business Strategy and Operations team provides insightful review, perspective, and direction on the strategy and operating performance of Google’s businesses. We engage on projects that impact multiple areas of Google’s business. We are integral partners to our Business counterparts and executives across Google’s Global Business organization (GBO). In addition, we are focused on delivering enablement and impact throughout our work.
As a Strategy and Operations Lead, you will help shape the future direction of Google’s GBO by working directly with executives and cross-functional executive leaders on Google’s business priorities, including business enablement. You’ll also work with team members across functions, regions, and roles to solve problems to further our mission of helping our customers grow and build a high-quality customer-focused business organization.
In addition, you will manage GBO’s regulatory enablement program on a global level by partnering with Sales leaders, regional go-to-market, Revenue Strategy and Operations (RSO), and other global central teams (e.g., Finance, Tax, Legal, and Policy). You’ll also help Sales teams and their clients navigate the regulatory environment through skills training and coordinating post-launch customer issues and escalations.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google’s complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
Deliver important enablements and communications to help promoters navigate market-level regulatory requirements by coordinating pre- and post- regulatory launches, customer issues, and escalations.
Structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses, developing final recommendations, and ensuring recommendations are implemented effectively and efficiently.
Work with executive leadership to define, launch, and drive strategic and operational initiatives.
Communicate findings to executive leadership with executive-ready presentations and thoughtful facilitation.
