GoPuff Hiring for Benefits Administrator at Remote Full Time
Expanding at a rapid pace, Gopuff is looking for a Benefits Administrator to join the People Operations Team. You will contribute to Gopuff’s performance by administering various employee benefits, including health and life insurance. The Benefits Administrator will report to the Benefits Manager.
Responsibilties
- Assist employees in the field and headquarters with enrollment in benefits programs, such as health insurance
- Respond to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries
- Ensure that our benefits policy complies with laws and regulations
- Inform employees of any changes to their benefits
- Conduct presentations and meetings to explain benefits to employees
- Ensure the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information
- Assist with new-hire orientations
- Perform quality checks of benefits-related data
- Distribute all benefits enrollment materials and determine eligibility
- Enroll employees with carriers and process life status changes
- Assist with processing and administering all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA
- Interpret FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities
- Respond to 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts. Manage the annual catch-up contribution enrollment
- Assist with the open enrollment process
- Additional ad-hoc tasks and projects
Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources or related field
- 1+ years experience in human resources; benefits administration experience required
- Customer Service attitude toward internal employees.
- Ability to set high personal goals and work independently.
- Ability to work cross functionally with various departments.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently..
- Familiarity with HCM or HRIS systems; Workday desirable.
- Experience in G-Suite and data-base management.
