There’s a seat at our table for you…The Customer Service Analyst will provide technical and customer serviceto external and internal customers as an immediate point of contact forbasic service requests and urgent problem resolution.Essential functions of the role:Receive internal and external customer orders and requests via phone,email, or fax.Participate in the training of new Call Center Representatives andattend ongoing training sessions.Field customer complaints and direct the information to the appropriateperson. Communicate customer concerns to sales representative.Maintain knowledge and proper use of Gordon Food Service systemsincluding Business Applications, Google Apps, Aspect phone system, OrderEntry technologies, and Internet ApplicationsArrange exception deliveries in collaboration with the transportationdepartment or delivery service in urgent need cases.Provide technical and how to support via telephone to internal andexternal customers for GFS ApplicationsProvide solutions to issues concerning training, program malfunction ortechnology application with an emphasis on key product segmentsEnter call information into call tracking software efficiently andaccuratelyProvide external application support as applicableMaintains knowledge of current Gordon Food Service products and businesssolutions in order to provide/recommend appropriate services forcustomers.Performs other duties as assigned.Our ideal candidate will have:One plus years previous customer service experience or previous helpdesk experience or equivalent combination of education, training, andexperience.Customer serving/facing experience with a customer first attitudeAssociate’s Degree (preferred)BE PART OF AN AMAZING CULTURE WHERE WHAT MATTERS TO YOU, MATTERS TO US!Gordon Food Service values our customers and understands that theirsuccess is largely dependent upon their workforce.
