What skills and experience you need to be a GoStudent tutor?

• You love to teach! You enjoy passing on your knowledge to other people and do so in a motivated and enthusiastic way.
• Must have a maths and or science background
• Experience working with Zoom and Google Drive
• You are organised and show a high level of initiative and independence.
• Good communication: You are professional and serious in dealing with people and can express yourself in English without any problems
• **Required** You need to have studied or trained to become a teacher in Ireland
• Bonus: let us know if you have previous tutoring experience
• Bonus: you would like to teach maths and are comfortable teaching levels up to, and including, further math
• **Required** Must have an IE bank account

Tasks

• Professional and organised supervision of own students
• Preparing lesson plans
• Teaching and supporting secondary school students
• Preparation and follow-up of teaching materials
• Writing feedback after each session
• Independent organisation of tutoring appointments
