The New Zealand Intelligence Community (NZIC) is a community of government agencies, Government Communications Security Bureau & New Zealand Security Intelligence Service, working together to build a safer and more prosperous New Zealand. The People and Capability team are looking for an enthusiastic Recruitment Coordinator to support their busy Recruitment team.

The role:

The Recruitment Coordinator provides administration and coordination support to the Recruitment team, and assists them in delivering effective and timely end-to-end selection and recruitment services across the Intelligence Community.

This is a unique opportunity which will suit a professional proven administrator with the following skills and background:

Strong administration and coordination experience, preferably providing support to a busy recruitment team, or similar

Highly effective planning and organising skills, including time management and prioritising within a complex work environment with competing priorities

Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to deliver high quality work output under pressure

Self-motivated, adaptable, innovative and adept at problem solving both independently and in a team environment

To be eligible for employment within the NZIC you must have been a NZ citizen for at least 10 years. Alternatively you must hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years.

You must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance. Ordinarily to obtain this level of clearance candidates must have a 15 year checkable background in countries where meaningful and reliable checks can be undertaken. Where requisite checks are unable to be made, the candidate application may not be able to be progressed.
