The Opportunity:

Within the Ministry of Immigration and Career Training, the Immigration Services Branch is seeking three permanent full-time Client Engagement Officers (CEO) to work within the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) Economic Immigration Unit. Working in a fast-paced customer service environment, the CEO is responsible for providing customer service and assessment of In-Saskatchewan applications to the SINP.

Reporting to the Assistant Supervisor, Client Engagement, your responsibilities will include:

• making recommendations on applications to the SINP from applicants already in Saskatchewan;
• providing client service to a variety of SINP stakeholders by telephone, email and in person;
• creating correspondence to applicants to in order to assess SINP applications; and
• amending and creating SINP communications to effectively communicate with SINP stakeholders regarding program criteria and processes.

The ideal candidate will have:

• knowledge of business practices and office procedures;
• the ability to use databases and computer software;
• the ability to apply program processes and make decisions within the parameters of the program area and policies;
• excellent communication skills to explain processes and programs to clients; and
• an enthusiastic team player whom tactfully and respectfully supports colleagues to promote a positive work environment.

Typically, the knowledge and experience required to achieve the above is obtained through a diploma in Business Administration coupled with experience working in a program delivery setting.
