The Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety – Policing and Community Safety Services Division is committed to the protection of the people, natural resources, and infrastructure within the province of Saskatchewan.
The newly created Provincial Protective Services branch (PPS) branch combines a variety of protective and investigative services including conservation officers, highway patrol traffic officers, investigators from the Safer Community and Neighbourhoods Program, Community Safety Officers responsible for security for the Wascana Center, Sheriff Services officers that provide security for courts and conduct prisoner transport plus several other related protection and investigational services.
The Ministry is seeing a highly experienced and forward-thinking leader to join as Executive Director, Provincial Protective Services. You will be, the primary leader responsible for the development, planning, implementation, management, and overall strategic direction for this newly created branch.

To be eligible for this opportunity, selected candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced security screening process and obtain and maintain a security clearance as a condition of employment. Background checks including a review of previous law enforcement service history and disciplinary history will be considered. The successful candidate must be eligible for appointment as a Special Constable pursuant to The Police Act, 1990 (SK).
