Community Living Service Delivery, Outreach and Prevention Services, is seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to work in a residential setting in Saskatoon at McCallum Home to support and assist people with intellectual disabilities in living their lives to the fullest.

In the rewarding position of a Community Residential Worker, you will impact individuals lives by promoting independence through positive programming and community participation. As a human service provider in the field of Disability Support, Psychology or Social Work, you will have the ability to provide proactive solutions to address complex and challenging behaviours to enhance the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Typically, the level of knowledge and skills for this position would be obtained through post-secondary education in a related human service field such as Disability Support Worker, Psychology, or Social Work and/or gained through related experience working in a therapeutic capacity with people with intellectual disabilities who display complex and challenging behaviours.

The successful candidate must be legally eligible to operate a vehicle supplied by the Ministry. This is a shift-work position.
