Saskatchewan Agriculture is seeking a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills to take on the position of Irrigation Agrologist in Outlook, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Manager of Agronomy Services, you will work closely with producers, producer groups, colleagues and researchers to effectively transfer technology; identify a wide variety of crop product opportunities; and develop strategies that will increase the profitability of irrigation in Saskatchewan.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of agronomy, economics, irrigation and the commercialization of a variety of irrigation crop products in Western Canada. You will be able to collect accurate research and demonstration data, interpret results, and develop and maintain relationships with various industry groups.

The knowledge for this position will typically be gained through a degree in Agriculture with knowledge of agronomy and irrigation. You will also be eligible for membership in the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrology.
