The Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) Branch of Integrated Justice Services is seeking a leader who is highly-motivated, detail-oriented and well organized for our Office Manager position.
The successful candidate will work closely with the management team and will be responsible for a wide variety of complex financial and administrative operational functions in a demanding and changing environment. You must have superior communication and interpersonal skills in order to provide leadership and direction to administrative staff and to provide support and advice to the executive team.
You will be responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing CSWB’s annual budget strategy and expenditure management, accountability and control process to meet the strategic direction of the branch. You will be involved in program, policy planning and financial management including financial analysis and risk assessment for decision making, planning and accountability.
You will be responsible for the completion of the staffing process, providing orientation, performance evaluation, determining training needs, and approving leaves. You will also have oversight and responsibility for financial functions, accounting and property management.
You will have oversight and responsibility for all aspects of the Community Safety and Well-Being electronic filing system including the Administrative Record Management System (ARMS).
You will have demonstrated leadership skills in building a team, in collaborative working relationships across government, and in creating a positive and engaging working environment. This term opportunity has the potential to be extended for up to two years.
