It’s an exciting time at Autostop as we have recently launched our trade specialist brand NAPA in NZ. We are backed by GPC Asia Pacific. GPC Asia Pacific’s automotive trade and specialist businesses have been serving customers for up to 90 years. To meet the growing requirements of our customers these businesses will form NAPA. Collectively, this positions us to continue to provide the first choice for automotive and specialist parts, accessories and solutions to our customers.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Store Person/Delivery Driver who takes pride in their work, to join and support our busy branch in Takanini on a Full Time basis. Reporting to the Branch Manager, your key focus will be to accurately pick, pack and dispatch or deliver goods in a timely manner. When deliveries are not required you will also assist within the branch with processing sales and preparing orders for dispatch.

A team player, you’ll be proactive in keeping our warehouse tidy.

What you need to be successful:

• Previous warehouse experience with a focus on receivables and dispatching
• A team oriented and methodical approach to all aspects of your work
• A clean drivers licence (essential) and forklift licence (advantageous)
• Physical capacity to lift up to 20kg
• A commitment to safety and building strong working relationships
• A genuine interest in the automotive-electrical industry and be willing to learn
• Good communication and organisational skills
