Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to act as an administrative assistant to the School Committee. The primary task is to take minutes at all School Committee meetings and assist the Committee in all administrative aspects of their duties. The position can be done in a remote environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
In support of the School Committee:
- Attend all School Committee meetings to their full completion and maintain reasonable flexibility to attend meetings based on the needs of the Committee
- Maintain the official minutes of the School Committee meetings and manage all official committee records, including updates to the Committee meeting schedule and member roster.
- Prepare and present for the approval of the minutes of each School Committee meeting.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Experience as an administrative assistant/secretary
- Ability to take accurate minutes at School Committee meetings.
- Thorough knowledge and appropriate use of grammar, spelling, and sentence and paragraph construction.
- Proficiency with various computer/software programs including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
