Due to our continued growth, we have a great opportunity for you to join our strong team as a full-time COMMERCIAL ELECTRICIAN

Benefits

• Rate of $52 to $60 / hour
• Vehicle can be included for the right candidate
• Guaranteed 45 hours per week but we are a flexible employer if you want to work 3 days per week or require school drop up or pick up is fine by us!
• Get a bonus 2.5 hours pay if you do your minimum 45 hours per week
• We have an offshore team of 50 staff and a massive range of support and technical knowledge.
• We are currently putting in a huge investment into our project department. Regular social events, upskilling, personal development with the opportunity to move into Project Lead roles.

Duties

• Oversee multiple sites / projects and ensure adherence to project budgets, timeframes, delivery, etc.
• Ensure that on site instructions from client’s authorized personnel are being recorded and managed
• Management of Electricians/ apprentices on site
• Maintaining site standards to a high level
• Prompt reporting and updates to the Project Manager
• Ensuring work is conducted under correct health and safety guidelines

Skills and Experience

• Current EWRB license
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
• Current and unrestricted Driver’s License
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Exposure to working on a range of electrical construction projects with a successful history of running site, teams/subcontractors
• Has extensive knowledge of NZ Electrical Standards and procedures
• Solid understanding of Health & Safety requirements, providing strong leadership and ensuring your team are adhering to company policies and procedures, and able to manage conflict effectively
•  Excellent organization and communication skill
