Assist with processing & record keeping for both accounts receivable and payroll functions for the resort. The responsibilities of this growth position will increase with time and experience in the resort accounting department.

Key Responsibilities – Overview:

• Extreme confidentiality.
• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy with data entry, data comparison, communication.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for answering customer and resort associate inquiries.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Think and act independently.
• Daily filing, both electronically and paperwork.
• Assist Payroll Manager with:
  • meeting strict deadlines and processing timely payment to associates ensuring proper documentation procedures are followed as well as labor laws,
  • payroll processing that includes monitoring the accuracy of input for time worked, commissions, tips, vacation pay, disability, leaves of absences and so on to various systems and softwares,
  • payroll processing that includes data mining of information, various software imports and exports of said data, and system balancing of data movement,
  • production of various daily and weekly reports for both management and operations.
• Assist Credit Manager with:
  • providing timely and quality service and support to resort customers and management as it pertains to extension of credit, charges of services and collections of payments,
  • execution of various resort policies including credit extension and collection procedures,
  • being a liason with operating departments to ensure group billing within PMS is set and communicated as dictated by sales contract with client.
  • monthly closing duties to include but not limited to production of all needed accounts receivable related postings, reporting and research as needed by accounting management and / or department heads.

• Completing various other accounting tasks and duties as required by accounting management.
