Job Summary The Nurse Manager is responsible for direct and indirect inpatient care provided by the nursing department staff. Coordinates staffing needs in conjunction with provider schedules and budget guidelines. Develops/maintains performance standards, staff competency, hiring, orientation and provides evaluations of nursing staff and Clinical Support Coordinator. Participates in a team-based approach to care in the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH). Participates in activities related to Quality Improvement. Requirements Associates Degree in Nursing. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan. CPR certification. 1-2 years previous supervisory/management experience.
