This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor with an interest in Medical Education, to join Great Ormond Street Hospital as a Fellow in Medical Education. GOSH is committed to a 5 year step change in the quantity and quality of educational activity under the banner of the ‘Learning Academy’, a trust wide framework within which major investment in education will occur across the trust. The post holder will, therefore, be joining the PGME team at a point of great opportunity for innovation in medical education. This role would be for a Speciality Registrar (ST4+ or equivalent) to develop their skills in medical education while being able to continue limited clinical activity in the area of their choice.

The post holder would work within the education department four days a week and in their chosen clinical area for the other day. This post is offered as a one year full-time Fellowship to work with the Director of Medical Education and the PGME Team at Great Ormond Street Hospital to develop and run a number of innovative educational initiatives and maintain teaching and training across the Trust.

The post holder will engage with faculty development supporting the PGME Operational Group, developing the Junior Doctors Forum team and helping to establish a robust teaching and training programme across the Trust. The post is for 12 months duration from start date.
