Referral Team Leader
- Full time position, based in our National Support Office – Hutt Valley
- Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm

A Referral Team Leader contributes to the delivery of our home-based support service by:
- Providing administrative support to manage and distribute referrals nationally for Access and sub-contractors by leading day to day operations
- Engaging with funders/NASC’s around potential new/ceased packages, increase or a change in package.
- Liaise with the local regional staff to ensure supports can be provided
- Respond to funder and client enquiries regarding eligibility
- Assist to Identify, implement and review workflow to improve communication and the effectiveness of the referral process.

Requirements are:
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong decision maker with the ability to problem solve creatively and strategically
- Excellent planning and prioritising skills when under pressure
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Embraces change and supports new initiatives
- Is sensitive to issues relating to equity; people with disability, cultural & social needs.
- Ability to lead and support a wider team in individual development
