For more information, visit:www.gpinet.comWhat You Will be Doing: * The Planning Board Engineer will be the central point of contact between the Municipalities and GPI * Attend Planning Board, Board of Adjustment, and/or Combined Land Use Board meetings as required * Be familiar with the Municipal Ordinances and Codes of various municipalities to review and evaluate Municipal Development Applications * Prepare reports for Boards and attend evening Board meetings as required * Testifying before municipal boards * Interaction with other GPI subject matter experts in support of application review * Be familiar with local, county, and state stormwater management, soil erosion control standards, NJDEP land use permits, and Municipal Land Use Laws * Analyze preliminary and final site plan drawings, reports, and related data to perform necessary reviews * Construction Inspection of site improvements to ensure compliance with Board approvals * Administer performance bonds preparation and release recommendations * Perform marketing duties related to maintaining existing clients as well as obtaining new working clients * Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with the Board secretary regarding agendas * Assist with the implementation and collection of invoices * Perform other duties as may be assignedWhat you need: * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent * 5 to 10 years of related experience * Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New Jersey * New Jersey State Municipal Engineer Certification or a New Jersey State Board of Professional Planners License is a plus * Maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration#ZRRequirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * Maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration * Possess a personal vehicle for use on or around a job site * Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language * Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
