PHP Developer

We are looking for a PHP Developer to join our system transformation programme. We are embarking on a journey to overhaul our ageing business and customer-facing systems to create a new, cloud-based platform of integrated micro-systems.

You will be a part of an agile team using a combination of SCRUM and Kanban. Reporting to a Software Team Lead, you will work on a project centered on delivering excellence to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver functionality within an Agile and fast-paced environment.
• Help define requirements and design solutions that meet the business requirements.
• Maintain and improve both the back-end and front-end for existing products.
• Mentor and coach junior members of the team

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in programming with PHP.
• Experience working with Magento.
• Good knowledge of Ecommerce systems.
• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming.
• Knowledge of test-driven development.
• Experience of Azure Devops and Git is a plus.
• Understanding of the entire software development life cycle.
• To be a fast learner who adapts easily to changing environments and technology stacks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
