Group HSE (OHS) Manager – support a business towards excellence Full Time

The Role
This role is responsible for enabling a contemporary OHS/HSE and risk management culture throughout the organisation by driving the implementation of objectives, process improvement initiatives, risk management and reporting systems. This role will pro-actively partner with senior leadership managers and employees across departments, functional teams and depots to enable solutions; and build organisational capability in line with HSE Strategy requirements.
The Group OHS (HSE) Manager will support the Global Head of Safety and Executive Operational teams to enable the proactive implementation and continual improvement of culture, strategy, plan and performance. In addition this role is a key people leadership position and will involve influencing and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.

The Role

- Managing safety across different business units at a large regional scale
- Site leadership coaching to support the transfer of safety management responsibility to operational levels
- Program implementation to ensure consistency relevant to regional sites
- Support team capability development

About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Be competent in developing reports to influence, engage discussion and support decision making at an executive level
- Strong People Management experience
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously but collaboratively as part of a large organisation
