Group Operations & Technology Division Hiring For Risk & Compliance Specialist, Acct Services, Grp Operation & Technology at Singapore Full Time

A. Job Purpose

To assist department to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and internal requirements.

B. Core Functions & Responsibilities

• Provide excellent support to the department on all risk related matters such as AML and general compliance
• Manage and close follow through of internal & external audits including regulatory inspections
• Develop, implement and evaluate Ops controls & compliance procedures in the department
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance procedures and strengthen internal controls
• Work with other teams within the department to identify potential risk areas from emerging trends and mitigate these risks with effective controls
• Develop training materials and provide training to address potential knowledge gaps
• Undertake any other ad-hoc projects when required

C. Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Banking and Finance / Accountancy or a relevant discipline
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience within the Banking and Finance industry in Singapore. Experience in AML, account-related servicing or operations is an added advantage
• Detail-oriented and meticulous in his/her duties.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy, and with a can-do attitude.
• Possess inquisitive and growth mindset, and excited about learning new skills.
• Strong team player and ability to work harmoniously with a diverse workforce.
• Independent and ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines
• Strong in Microsoft Office applications
