The Impact You Will Make:

• You’ll write performant and concise code to meet the defined standards here at GrubHub
• You’ll work on optimization of resource utilization and code to improve latency, take more load, and reduce costs.
• Load and regression testing for the infrastructure efficiency and adaptability.
• Implement and test new pricing models while maintaining low latency of our endpoints

What You Bring to the Table:

• Strong fundamentals in Computer Science
• Fundamentals of Java or other object-oriented languages
• Experience writing quality, maintainable code in Java or other object-oriented languages
• Knowledge of different testing techniques
• Understanding of distributed systems
• Knowledge of SQL/no SQL databases
• Understanding of different caching techniques
• A passion for resolving difficult scaling problems
