As a Scientist, this role will support process development, scale-up, and qualification for a number of unit process steps and for several biologically derived immunostimulants.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
Executes a wide range of experiments independently and proactively incorporates new technologies into practice with a particular focus and expertise in the specialization of Fermentation
Independently selects, designs and executes experiments based on interpretation of previous results
Performs complex data management and analysis with minimum oversight
Initiates new research directions and novel strategies to achieve “project” or department goals
Collaborates with other teams/divisions within the organization, both within site and above site
Implements and maintains a scientifically current, state-of-the-art laboratory environment
Performs routine data management tasks including recording results effectively in laboratory notebook or computer independently (i.e. tabulating and graphing results)
Independently prepares and communicates conclusions and recommendations for next steps, to “project” members
Independently writes specific technical sections of internal and external reports, publications, or regulatory documents
Presents effectively to internal R&D forums and presents results at external meetings
Shares relevant scientific information from internal and external meetings to appropriate colleagues
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
1+ years of experience in cGMP environment
1+ years of experience with fermentation and process development
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with bacterial fermentation
Proficient in standard MS software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
Demonstrate ability to work successfully both independently and in a team environment
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good time management skills
