About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join GSK New Zealand, as a Senior Brand Manager for an upcoming launch. As Senior Brand Manager (SBM), you will report to the Business Unit Head – General Medicines and play a pivotal role in successfully marketing GSK’s products in New Zealand, to drive uptake and growth for the business. The SBM will lead the execution of strategy across Medical, Marketing, Sales and Omnichannel resources and create and implement the strategic and tactical marketing plans for assigned products/brands.

Your role will be varied and will include:

• Development of business plans and monitoring and updating plans for assigned products
• Create, implement and monitor tactical plans to ensure effective execution on time and within budget
• Determine effective means of growing the business and developing new and innovative tactical campaigns
• Manage external and internal relationships to leverage business for assigned brands
• Leading a team (1-2 reports)

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• 4+ years of experience in a marketing/sales role in the pharmaceutical or other health related industry
• Degree in either Science, Health, Marketing, Management or Commerce
• Experience leading a launch of a new brand
• Knowledge of the NZ pharmaceutical landscape and reimbursement environment
• Strong organisation skills with a “can do” attitude
• Outstanding communication skills
